Tarpaulins
We use different materials that differ in price and quality.
- Acrylmarine, a "breathable" blend on cotton and polyester with a very good quality / price ratio (blue and gray)
- Airtex, with the same properties as Acrylmarine, but lighter and more waterresistant, and with a better fungicidal finish (blue and gray)
- Planofil is a particularly durable tarpaulin made of polyester with a polyurethane coating, developed for the Swiss army. Planofil is manufactured by Geissbühler, one of the world's leading specialists for textile coatings. With a weight of only 180 g/sqm, Planofill is particularly light and extremely UV-resistant.
- Sattler 341 - Nautex SEAMASTER 341, the uncoated acrylic quality, is the right choice for light boat covers: light, high UV and weather resistance - combined with good water vapor permeability and very high air permeability.
PVC-coated materials are also suitable for rudders, masts, booms and transport tarpaulins.
When it comes to high-quality masts, you should focus on the variants padded with foam.
